Description

This bowl is from a ficus tree and was turned on the lathe while still green (wet) to promote warping and personality. It's not about perfection but about functionality and usage. Will look great on a table or between your legs on the floor filled with popcorn. Buddha Bowls are meant to be used and the options are endless. 5" in height, 7.75" diameter and weighs 14.2oz. On the outside we used a Sho Sugi Ban finish then added a purple embellishing wax. The rim was highlighted with a plum intrinsic color and the inside we used intrinsic colors like black, green, gold and yellow. Finally the inside was slightly burned to enhance the grain. Not meant to hold liquids but just about anything else.
